Clare Chandler

Clare has over 20 years business experience which includes senior roles in Human Resources and line management. A significant part of her career has been spent at Prudential Corporation where posts held included HR Director, Director of Leadership Development, Sales Director and Business Development Director. The emphasis throughout her career has been on delivering successful and enduring change whether at the level of individual, team or whole organisations. Her experience has included developing and delivering new business models and distribution channels as well as restructuring to minimise damage and enhance future performance.
Clare has broad international experience covering the UK, Europe, US and Asia; this includes designing and delivering senior leadership development events and coaching interventions for international, multicultural teams.
As a business coach, Clare’s focus is on developing individuals and teams to enhance business performance and increase personal achievement and fulfilment. At senior levels this often includes addressing collaboration, conflict resolution and business relationships. Recent clients include Barclays, ING, Old Mutual, Dresdner, Hermes, Government and Anti Slavery International.
Clare is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist. She holds a psychology degree from Bristol University and an MBA from London Business School. She is a qualified coach and a member of the British Psychological Society’s Special Group for Coaching Psychology. She is also qualified in Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), the Occupational Personality Questionnaire (the OPQ), the 16 Personality Factors (16PF), the Fundamental Interpersonal Relationships Orientation (Firo B) and the Personality and Preference Inventory (PAPI). She holds the NTL Institute’s certificate in Organisation Development and the NTL certificate of Advanced Group Process Consulting. She is a fellow of the RSA.
Clare is married and lives in Sussex with her husband, dog and several ducks. She is a keen runner and passionate about horses, which she events competitively.
